Vamat Shower Toilet
The VAMAT was designed for people who are no longer able, due to physical or mental impairments, independently clean themselves with toilet paper.
It’s a smart toilet in that it washes and dries you and can only be activated while you are sitting on the toilet seat. The unit is designed to fit on most standard domestic toilet pans, and requires minimal preparation work prior to installation.
The operation of the shower toilet VAMAT is simple. The 2minute wash cycle can be started by a touch button on the side of the unit, or for more complex needs, a foot button, remote control or even a motion detector sensor can be installed as additional extra.
The Wash cycle uses warm potable water, heated to 38C to provide a comfortable cleaning experience. The Water Wash can be restarted as many times as is necessary. The temperature will remain constant throughout the wash cycle. This is one of the key advantages of the VAMAT Shower Toilet.
The Spray Arm or Bidet Arm washes the pelvic region from front to back to prevent contamination of pelvic area with fecal matter. This feature alone is extremely important when dealing with female health.
Once the Wash Cycle is complete, the Air dryer will come on automatically. Warm air is gently blown from behind the seat, to dry the pelvic area. This cycle can be adjusted from 3 minutes to 10 minutes depending on preferences.
The new VAMAT from Enable Supplies is the most advanced electric shower toilet on the Irish market. With a range of seat options for complex needs, typically people with acquired brain injury, stroke, MS, MND, Parkinson, Arthritis, Mobile impaired, elderly or those with reduced hand function, the VAMAT can provide toileting comfort and reassurance to everyone regardless of their level of mobility.
