As part of the NewCare range, the NewCare Bariatric is an electric hospital bed designed for bariatric patients.

This variant is aimed at solving a variety of care, treatment and safety issues for patients weighing up to 250 kg.

Optimum Safety

Full-length split siderails fitted with anti-trapping system, in compliance with standard IEC 60601-2-52. The siderails are lowered using a gas spring to soften the effect of the siderail’s movement.
With its wedge design, the backrest section siderails become a reliable tool for a safe mobilisation of the patient.
Visual bed position indicators on the siderails.
Easily removable headboard and footboard made of stainless steel tube with central board in HPL.
Mechanical CPR handle on both sides of the bed.
Bed protected against infection, thanks to its steel structure with antimicrobial paint coating tested in accordance with ISO 22196:201.
Fully electric articulated bed with IPX6 protection against penetration of liquids.
4 independent HPL bed base sections, removable them with tools for easy cleaning and bed maintenance.

Easy Manoeuvrability

150 mm dual-band castors. One of them with steering function.
Centralized braking system with drive by bilateral pedals on the endboards.
Bumpers located at the four corners as shock protection.

Patient and medical staff operation control with function-locking key to activate and cancel the different functions and Trend / Antitrend positions.
30 cm of bed base extension.
The combined self-regression (16’5 cm) of the back and leg sections promotes abdominal decompression and minimises the risk of pressure ulcers.
Adjustable foot section independent of the knee section with 6-positions mechanical articulation of by rastomat system, providing greater ergonomics.

Ergonomic design

The lifting carriage is made of high-strength steel with epoxy coating that guarantees durability and resistance.
4 mattress retainer arcs to prevent the mattress for shifting.
4 accessory holders located at the bed corners to easily fasten accessories.
Bilateral drainage bag supports with DIN hooks on each one for placing drains, diuresis and nasogastric bags.
