A disability friendly washbasin that takes up very little space
Sometimes there is only limited room in a bathroom. In those cases, it becomes critical, that the washbasin has a practical size and does not take up a lot of space. At the same time, when the bathroom is to be used by people with reduced functional capacity, the washbasin has to meet specific requirements in order to be handicap friendly.
AdaptLine is a range of washbasin models that are created for small bathrooms and toilets. The washbasins are mounted on the wall and have a width of 60 cm.
The AdaptLine washbasins take both the carers’ and the users’ needs into consideration. This allow you to find a solution that fits your specific needs without compromising on either design or functionality.
Three washbasin models in the AdaptLine range
Like the StandardLine and the SlimLine washbasin series, the AdaptLine also offers you the possibility to choose the washbasin model you prefer. In this case there are three washbasin models in the range, and they are all handicap friendly but differs on a few points. They can all be fitted on the unit which also gives you the option to exchange the washbasins if desired.
All three washbasin models are highly suitable for wheelchair users since there is maximum legroom underneath the washbasin.
Standard washbasin model
The Standard washbasin model has a simple and stylish design. It is a functional and practical washbasin with overflow that helps drain the washbasin.
Support washbasin model
The Support washbasin model is designed with integrated handrails on the front of the sink. As the washbasin is thoroughly tested to comply with relevant standards for assistive aids, the washbasin can be used as a support grab for users with mobility disabilities who need extra support to keep balanced. Wheelchair users have free access to the washbasin and can easily come close to the washbasin.
The basin is 60 cm wide and without overflow.
Hospital washbasin model
The Hospital washbasin model is explicitly designed for use in hospital environments. It has an inwardly curved front that makes it easy for users to come within easy reach of the tap. Where as the Support and Standard models are made of composite materials, the Hospital model is made in porcelain which provides a very hard surface. This results in easy cleaning to the needed hygiene level.
The basin is 64 cm wide.
Adjust the washbasin for individual needs
The AdaptLine washbasins are available with manual height adjustment. You adjust the height with a small handle. The height adjustment range is 20 cm.
There is also a range of mixer taps in the accessory range for the series. Some may have certain needs, e.g. extended levers, handicap friendly grip or touchless feature. All these are available for the AdaptLine washbasins.
Easy to fit into any interior
AdaptLine is a series of practical washbasins with all of the required features that the elderly and disabled people need. At the same time, it is also a flexible and elegant solution when space is limited.
