The Nightingale Patient Privacy Screen by Egan Med Ltd. was developed with Irish nurses, and HSE care staff in mind.
This type of medical ward screen is designed to replace medical curtain in long stay hospitals that use ceiling mounted patient hoists.
Previously the curtain rods interfered with the moving rails of a patient hoist track, thereby compromising both patient handling and privacy.
Now thanks to these modular designed, moveable and foldable patient privacy screens, patient hoists can be used with total patient privacy as and when needed.
The Floor-Mounted Pole Privacy Screen offers a safe and sturdy alternative to wall-mounted systems, ideal for heritage buildings or older facilities where sand-and-lime-based walls cannot support fixings. Discreet and robust, this screen system provides essential privacy while allowing natural light to flow freely when not in use. Designed for long-stay wards and elderly care settings, it can be easily drawn closed to create a comforting sanctuary, or opened to maintain social engagement and connection with the ward environment.
